Lisa is the only child of her Thai mother, Chitthip Brüschweiler, and Swiss stepfather, Marco Brüschweiler, a chef.
She completed her secondary education at Praphamontree School I and II. Raised in a multicultural environment, Lisa is multilingual; she speaks fluent Thai, Korean, and English, and has basic proficiency in Japanese and Chinese.
Education and Early Interests:
From the age of four, Lisa enrolled in dance classes and began participating in competitions, including the "To Be Number One" project. She was a member of the eleven-member dance crew We Zaa Cool, alongside BamBam of Got7. In September 2009, the crew won the Special Team Award at the LG Entertainment Million Dream Sanan World competition. Additionally, Lisa represented her school in the "Top 3 Good Morals of Thailand" singing contest in early 2009, finishing as the runner-up.
Career Beginnings:
At 13, Lisa auditioned for YG Entertainment in Thailand, inspired by K-pop artists like BigBang and 2NE1. Among 4,000 applicants, she was the only one selected, becoming YG's first non-ethnically Korean trainee. She moved to South Korea in 2011 to begin her training.
In November 2013, she appeared as a background dancer in Taeyang's music video. She also modeled for brands like Nona9on and Moonshot.
BLACKPINK and Solo Career:
In August 2016, Lisa debuted as a member of BLACKPINK, serving as the main dancer, sub-vocalist, lead rapper, and the group's youngest member, known as the "maknae." In September 2021, Lisa made her solo debut with the single album "LALISA," which achieved significant commercial success.
Personal Life:
Lisa is known for her dedication to her craft and her ability to connect with fans worldwide. She has also been involved in various philanthropic activities, including donations to flood victims in Thailand.
